Conclave Objective

Reaping demographic divided rests on effectiveness of effective human capital formation, and a good learning ecosystem is a sine qua non for that. In fast-evolving world, traditional approaches to learning ecosystem are becoming outdated. There is need to reconsider the elements of learning ecosystem.

Ministry of HRD, Government of India is committed to facilitate development of a conducive learning ecosystem in the country. However, many institutions need to fully comprehend the challenges and formulate a response.

In this context, IFIM Business School, a pioneer in innovations in management education, is organizing an international conclave in association with European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) to facilitate deliberations on challenges faced by institutions providing management education in India.

Key take-aways:

  • What are approaches to learning work in this new world? How should traditional education system be transformed to be flexible, adaptive, inclusive, and oriented on individual needs?
  • What an ecosystem approach means, what initiatives and elements of a learning ecosystem we already have, and how we can help it evolve to meet the current challenges?

Participants of the conclave will get an opportunity to deliberate the issue with peers from India and abroad to formulate a contextual response to challenges in development of an effective learning ecosystem in India.

For whom?

The conclave is being organized with active collaboration with the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which is the largest network association in the field of management development and has over 890 member organizations from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 88 countries.

Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI) and Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) are supporting the conclave to bring together a relevant agenda and participants. The event is expected to be attended by member institutions of EPSI, AIMS, EFMD in addition to Ed-Tech companies and Venture Capitalist/PE Funds aiming to infuse innovation in learning ecosystem.
